Nordic Kids

Planning for the 2010 Nordic Kids season is underway.  Visit the Nordic Kids Page for information about the program or go straight to the Enrollment Page for registration instructions and the online application.   

Changes at Mt Spokane State Park

Road construction this summer completed the upgrade to access the Selkirk Lodge; no more bumpy corduroy road on your way up and down the mountain.  Note that the speed limit is still 20 mph.  The Ranger's office is now the house just inside the entrance to the park on the north side.  Sno-Park passes went on sale beginning November 1st.  You can buy an annual pass on line for $80; daily passes will be $20.  The website is: http://www.parks.wa.gov/winter/permits/.  You can also buy passes at: Fitness Fanatics, Mt Gear, REI, Bear Creek Lodge, both Alpine lodges, and at the Ranger's office.

Souper Bowl

The Women's Souper Bowl for this season is scheduled for Sunday, Feb 7, 2010.  Plan to attend this fun and lively event which includes Nordic ski and snowshoe events for women of all ages.  For more information, visit souperbowlspokane.org
