Spokane Nordic Kids Enrollment

Welcome to the enrollment page for Spokane Nordic Kids.  General information about the What, where, when and how of this program is available on the Nordic Kids Info page.  This page is about the enrollment process.

1.     Before you begin, you need to decide:

a.     who will be the primary email contact for your family. All Spokane Nordic Kids and Spokane Nordic Ski Education Foundation general email communication will be sent to this person's email account.

b.     for which weekends you and/or your spouse/partner are willing to volunteer. See the general info for the class schedule. You are requested to commit at least three sessions of help for each child enrolled.

c.     for which roles you and/or your spouse/partner are willing to volunteer.
On Snow options include:
            Class Leader,
            Assistant Leader, or
            Substitute Leader.
Lodge Helper options include:
            Set-up/Take Down (12:30 – 1:15 PM)
            Sign-in (12:30 – 1:15 PM), 
            Sign-out (2:30 – 3:15 PM)
            Supervision inside or outside the lodge after class (2:45–3:15 PM)
            Cocoa & Snacks (2:40 – 3:15 PM) 
            Clean Up (3:00 – 3:30 PM). 

2.     To start the enrollment process, click on this  The Enrollment Form  link. It will open in a new window  so you can refer back to this page for instructions. The link will take you to the online Membership Enrollment page were you will establish your family membership and primary contact. 

3.     On the Membership Enrollment page:

a.     Select a Membership Type of “Family” from the drop-down list.

b.     Fill in a login account name and password and write it down somewhere so you remember it.

c.     Fill out the rest of the info on this page. If you have left a required field blank, the page will inform you that the info is required when you tab out of it. Please go back and fill it in.

d.     Review the Release Form and check the check box after you have read it.

e.     Put in the black image verification letters as you see them, remembering to match the case.

f.      Click Submit Enrollment. This will submit your info and send you an activation email to the address specified during enrollment. 

4.     Activate the Membership enrollment by going to your email account and clicking on the link provide in the email we send you. Generally speaking you should receive the email in less than a minute. 

5.     In the lower left-hand corner of the page to which you are sent via the email link, enter your user name and password and hit enter or click on the login button. 

6.     Click on the Member Settings link in the lower left hand side of the page to which you have been sent.  This will send you to the Account Members Page where you should see the Primary Member listed. 

7.     Add the volunteer info for the Primary Member:

a.     Click on the Nordic Kid Volunteer :: Sign Up/Manage link

b.     If you are new you will need to click on the Not enrolled yet? Click Here link.  Otherwise click on the Edit Members NK Volunteer Information link.

c.     Please fill out as much of the info as you can. The more you answer the more successful we will be in having a smooth assignment process.

d.     Click Submit.  This will return you to the Membership Account page. 

8.     Add your spouse/partner:

a.     Click on the Add a New Member to this Account link.

b.     Select Member Type “Spouse/Partner” (may still say Secondary) on the drop-down list.

c.     Fill in the first and last name of your spouse/partner.  The rest of the info is optional, but helpful in contacting them for anything for which they volunteer.

d.     Click Submit.  This will return you to the members account page with your Spouse/Partner now added as a Member.

e.     If your spouse/partner is going to volunteer, then click on the Nordic Kid Volunteer :: Sign Up/Manage link, otherwise skip to step 9.

f.      If you are new you will need to click on the Not enrolled yet? Click Here link.  Otherwise click on the Edit Members NK Volunteer Information link.

g.     Please fill out as much of the info as you can. The more you answer the more successful we will be in having a smooth assignment process.

h.     Click Submit.  This will return you to the Membership Account page. 

9.     Add a child:

a.     Click on the Add a New Member to this Account link.

b.     Select Member Type “Child” on the drop-down list.

c.     Fill in the first and last name of your child.  The rest of the info is optional.

d.     Click Submit.  This will return you to the members account page with your Child now added as a Member.

e.     For children under the age of 15:

i.      click on the NK Student :: Sign up/Manage link.

ii.     If your child is new, you will need to click on the Not enrolled yet? Click Here link.

iii.   Fill out as much of the info as you can. The more you answer the more successful we will be in placing your child in an appropriate class

iv.   Click Submit.  This will return you to the Membership Account page.

f.      For children over the age of 15 who wish to volunteer:

i.    Click on the Nordic Kid Volunteer :: Sign up/Manage link.

ii.     If your child is new you will need to click on the Not enrolled yet? Click Here link.

iii.   Fill out as much of the info as you can. The more you answer the more successful we will be in placing your child in a volunteer role.

iv.   Click Submit.  This will return you to the Membership Account page. 

10.  Repeat step 9 for as many children as you wish to enroll in the program.

11. When you have finished filling out all of your family members' enrollment data, under the Primary Member's section click on the Complete and Print Payment Form link (Note: you will need to have Adobe Reader 9 loaded on you system to use this form.  If you do not have Adobe Reader 9 you may download it for from from www.Adobe.com). Please fill out the form online so that it can calculate your payment.  Please then write a check for the appropriate amount and send it to the address on the form.

Special Note: 

For 2010 and beyond all Nordic Kids participants will be registered through this website. In 2010, all registrants must go through the whole process.  In future years, your prior years data will be preloaded for you, make registration much quicker.  If you sent in a paper form, it will be entered for you and an email will be sent for you to confirm your account info.  Please review it online and make any corrections.  Thanks.
