The Ski-A-Thon is back with new and improved prizes!

Every February, dozens of skiers compete to win prizes and raise funds for SNSA's youth programs. The funds help us keep the cost of our youth teams low and accessible to all. They also help us purchase new waxing tools and supplies, equipment storage, and race suits.

Participants will self-report how many kilometers they ski all month long, earning a new prize at each fundraising milestone. There are separate Youth and Adult divisions with separate prizes so everyone can get in on the fun!

 HOW IT WORKS

  1. Sign Up on RallyUp
    go.rallyup.com/snsa2024
Click the "Participant Center" button to register.

  2. Gather sponsors
Reach out to family, friends, and co-workers. Sponsors can commit a certain dollar amount per kilometer or simply donate a flat amount.

  3. Start skiing!
All February long, skiers will self-report their kilometers on RallyUp as they go. Skiing can be done anywhere, but it must be cross-country skiing, classic or skate. Due to the warm and rainy conditions, we will also accept roller skiing in 2024.

As you rack up the kilometers and donations, you will earn prizes for reaching different milestones. The prizes compound, so you will win a new prize for each tier you reach! You can choose which division (youth or adult) prize you want for each Tier.

SNSA's Race Team, Development Team, Morning Nordic Kids, and Afternoon Nordic Kids will all be on separate teams working to raise $10,000 and earn this party package!

We don't want to leave the Adult Division out, so if all of the adult participants collectively earn $10k, they and their families will be invited to a party of their own - complete with complimentary food and drinks. More details coming soon.

These prizes compound, so you will win additional prizes as you pass each tier.

WE KNOW ASKING FOR SPONSORS CAN BE AWKWARD...

BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE!

When you participate in the Ski-A-Thon, every dollar you raise will go directly toward SNSA's youth programs.

Don't let "asking for money" hold you back! Friends and family will only admire you for your efforts, whether they decide to contribute or not!

IF YOU'RE STILL STRUGGLING TO KNOW HOW TO ASK, FEEL FREE TO USE ANY OF OUR SUGGESTED PHRASING:

This February, I will be participating in a cross-country "Ski-A-Thon" fundraiser to support Spokane Nordic Ski Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that hosts youth ski programs and events in the Mt Spokane State Park Nordic Ski Area every winter.

I will be tracking my distance throughout the month of February and I'm looking for people to support my campaign. If you're interested, you can contribute to my campaign per KM or with a flat amount by visiting: [Copy your campaign's url here]

It's a great cause so I hope you'll support my campaign!

THANK YOU!

Your participation in our Ski-A-Thon helps to ensure that SNSA can continue doing what we do. The proceeds from this event will help us continue to create, develop, and deliver programs that foster a love of Nordic skiing and the great outdoors. We sincerely appreciate your support!

THANK YOU TO OUR SKI-A-THON SPONSORS!
SNSA and Spokane's Nordic Skiing Community appreciate your support!
