Trail Days

Trail Days Schedule

The Mt. Spokane Nordic ski trails spring to life in summer. If we don't clear them in the off-season, they won't be ready for ski season. Skiers and State Parks staff have partnered on summer trail clearing for decades to make Nordic skiing what it is in our community.

On each Trail Day, arrive at the Selkirk Lodge at 9:00 AM and bring food, water, and appropriate clothing including sturdy long pants, hiking or work boots and work gloves. Each work day will wrap up by 3:30 or 4:00 at the latest.

We will be working on IEP land, State Parks land and Outer Limits over in Idaho.

Youth are welcome, and no experience is required. New volunteers are provided with instruction and only use tools they are comfortable with. Tools and safety gear will be provided.

For more info and to RSVP, email Todd Dunfield or Sam Schlieder.
