The Pineapple Express is two days of racing hosted by an international partnership of Methow Valley Nordic Ski Education Foundation, Spokane Nordic Ski Association, Nickel Plate Nordic Centre, Nordiq Canada, and US Ski and Snowboard. December 20-21, 2025: 10 AM Freestyle Individual Start on Saturday, 10 AM Classic Mass Start on Sunday.

TRAIL PASSES

Racers get a trail pass for race days when they complete the Zone 4 registration process

Official team coaches and official volunteers do not need trail passes on race days

Parents and other folks need trail passes on race days; they must purchase these on their own (in person or on the Nickel Plate website: https://nickelplatenordic.org/)

Everybody (including racers, coaches, volunteers, and parents) must purchase trail passes on their own if they plan to ski on Friday before the race week or skiing on any other non-race days (in person or on the Nickel Plate website)

REFRESHMENTS
Nickel Plate Nordic has a great snack bar available, but for this larger contingent of racers and teams, it is advisable to bring food if you are planning to have any larger meals or food needs on-site. We do advise people to bring extra snacks, just in case they run out of food.

Please be advised that Nickel Plate does not have garbage collection, so please advise your athletes to pack everything out each day. There is a snack bar that will be open both days. We do advise people to bring snacks also, just in case they run out of food.
